The members of Romanian Society of Aerospace Medicine (RSAM) have found with great sorrow of the passing of Dr. Silvio Finkelstein, honorary member of our society. In all due rights, he was like a father for the modern development of Romanian aeronautical medicine and his support was strong and considerate, keeping on developing the scientific level of the society and the society’s revue, leading to the event of Romania hosting the XXXth International Congress of Aeronautical and Space Medicine. He never forgot Romania and his messages and support kept us motivated until his recent decline in health.
“We will miss you dear friend and you will always have a place in our hearts. May you rest in peace!”
