Today, August 13, 2025, Romania mourns the loss of a remarkable figure in military and aviation medicine: Major General (Retd.) Medical Doctor, Professor Marian Macri, PhD, former Head of the Medical Directorate within the Ministry of National Defense and former Commander of the National Institute of Aeronautical and Space Medicine “Dr. Gen. Av. Victor Anastasiu,” who has passed away.
